LaterDeck

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2026

The short version

LaterDeck is built to respect your privacy. We collect the minimum data needed to make the product work. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't track you across the web.

What we store

When you use LaterDeck without an account, everything stays on your device in your browser's local storage. We have no access to it.

If you create an account to sync across devices, your saved items (URLs, titles, tags, and timestamps) are stored on our servers. We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting. Your email address is used solely for authentication.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or share your data with third parties
  • We don't run analytics trackers or advertising
  • We don't read or analyze the content you save
  • We don't track your browsing activity outside of items you explicitly save

Browser extension permissions

The LaterDeck extension requests only the permissions needed to function:

  • Active tab: to read the title and URL of the page you're saving
  • Storage: to save your feed locally in the browser
  • Context menus: to add the "Save to LaterDeck" right-click option

Data deletion

You can delete your local data at any time by uninstalling the extension. If you have an account, you can request full deletion of your synced data by contacting us. We will remove all associated data from our servers.
